Do you believe you can beat worry and anxiety? I wholeheartedly think you can. (At least the basic kind that you can control - sometimes our bodies aren't quite allll under our control...we'll talk about that further in this study, too! Along with some tips to work on those issues also. It also involves God.)
God wants His children to have an everyday existence of light, of joy, of strength...not perpetual worry and anxiety over things in this world. Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." (John 10:10)
Abundant life. That doesn't sound like it's plagued with worry and anxiety, does it, sisters? More along the lines of contentment and joy! (Doesn't that sound infinitely more wonderful??)
Let's recognize that our feelings are often tricksters - we just can't trust 'em! But we can ALWAYS, ALWAYS trust God and the truths found in His Word. Which means we need to KNOW His Word - and what it says and what it means.
