2020 Spiritual Goal Planning
Why should all of our New Year's energy be focused outwardly? From the myriad of TV specials about celebs and politicians and their 2019 accomplishments - to the New Year's Rockin' Eve show with Ryan Seacrest - to the parade on New Year's Day, sometimes we don't take a few quiet moments to ourselves to contemplate what's truly important.
Let's gather up our momentum from the excitement of a shiny new year, propelled forward by the decisions to make better choices after a holiday season of excess, and try something different this time!
We'll take a few moments on December 31st (or first thing on January 1st) to reflect on the past year...on our spiritual accomplishments and struggles of 2019. Then we'll be ready for some goal-setting!
Whether or not you've purchased our Faith Planner, you can participate in this! We're going to:
*brainstorm upcoming spiritual goal ideas for 4 main areas (ourselves, our ministries, family, & church family)
*set priorities for 2020
*divide up our goals into smaller tasks
*pray over our goals
*decide how to check goal progress
All of these worksheets and planning pages are going to inform how we'll actually fill in our Faith Bucket List in this year's Faith Planner...it's scary to put pen to paper without doing some serious thinking and brainstorming first!
In addition, we'll spend time sharing tips and tricks to use your Faith Planner (if you have one) to the fullest extent! I have zero doubt that 2020 can be a fantastic year, even if other hardships try to interfere. Our spiritual walk with God is the Most Important Thing - as long as we are committed to staying on the light-filled path, our lives can be filled with the utmost joy and peace. 💗 The only resolution we truly need each year is to grow closer to God and in understanding of His Word.
*You can complete these activities on your own time, but if you finish the course before January 7, 2020, you'll be entered in some of our prize giveaways!
~Kristen, Ashley, Alyssa, & Christy
P.S. As always, share with your sister friends!
Testimonials from our students:
"I highly recommend the Spiritual Goal Planning Course to any Christian lady who is seriously dedicated to seeing her goals and plans for the year fulfilled! In the past I have struggled with finding ways to accomplish the spiritual and personal goals I had set for myself and my family, but thanks to this course from the ladies of The Ruffled Mango, I know now to PRAYERFULLY consider specific goals and to take small steps throughout the year to turn my goals into my accomplishments. I loved the printable sheets that have helped me to reflect on the previous year, and that have aided me in putting my goals into a functional plan of action. This Spiritual Goal Planning Course also makes good use The Ruffled Mango's Faith Planner, which has been such a beneficial tool in my spiritual life. This course is a blessing!" -Jessica D.
"This is the first time I have been presented with the idea of spiritual goal planning. It's something I think I've always tried to mentally do but couldn't get my head organized. I love this pen and paper approach to really nail down and visualize what I want to achieve. Thanks for providing such an amazing tool and useful guides!" - Leann G.
"This course was so easy to accomplish and that in itself was encouraging to me. So excited about my written plans for the year! It has been awhile since I've actually sat down and put on paper goals for the year and held myself accountable. So ready to grow, pray and share with others. So thankful for all the worksheets and tools you've provided to help me! Thank you!!!" - Tammy B.
"I really enjoyed this course a lot! I loved the organization especially. It allowed me to start by reflecting on what went well in 2018 and what I want to do better in 2019. Then I was able to dream all the things my mind could come up with, but before it became overwhelming, I was able to stop, prioritize, and really decide which ones were most important to tackle, and then break those goals down into achievable plans. Loved the format, and looking forward to making my 2019 goals happen with the help of this plan!" - Emily G.
"So glad I finished the course. It was the nudge I needed to get started!" - Erica G.
"I loved this course. I wasn't expecting it to be so easy! I loved the worksheets that were provided, although I didn't print them out this time as I was just working on my computer (and to be honest, my printer is downstairs and I didn't feel like going down there to get them ;) ). They will be great print outs later though! I loved the ideas of different goals that could be set for the different areas of our lives. The format was so easy to use! I am excited that I've narrowed down some of my goals! This will be great to get to come back to later in the year to revisit the goals I set and set some new ones to accomplish!" - Catie L.
"This course is so helpful and simple! I plan to go through it with my daughter as well, to help her learn great tools to use on her journey as well." - Beth G.
Welcome! Our Christian lifestyle blog - www.theruffledmango.com - was launched in the summer of 2015, to fill a niche of speaking the truth in love. We want to encourage women to identify what the Bible really says, and then confidently step into their God-given roles, glorifying Him as we pass through this life. Our site has slowly evolved, with the feedback from our precious readers, to offering much more Bible study materials, such as our monthly scripture writing plans (offered for free on the blog). We also have created several physical products, such as our Faith Planner, scripture writing calendar, greeting cards, and printables (which you can find in our Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheRuffledMango) The four of us also enjoy creating online Bible studies, which are all housed here in our Teachable school: https://the-ruffled-mango-school.teachable.com/cou... We hope to add ebooks and printed workbooks to our offerings in the next year or so. =)
Besides our work with The Ruffled Mango, the four of us are busy with other work also. Kristen manages a local antique & gift shop and co-coordinates a huge tea party fundraiser each spring for student scholarships to a local Christian university. Ashley (a CPA) teaches college level accounting classes, mothers 4 sweet kiddos, and also tends chickens & an orphaned lamb in her spare time. Alyssa is mom to 3 active boys and sells fancy decorated cookies and cakes on the side. Christy is a health science teacher with 5 children and serves in the role as a preacher's wife also. All of us enjoy cooking and baking, along with working in various ministries in our home congregations.
